TPNP GRAD

Bamban, Tarlac – Mayor Jose Antonio T. Feliciano led the Community Based Livelihood Training’s graduation ceremony held recently at Brgy. San Nicolas Covered Gym. Said livelihood training is part of the Training and Placement Network Program (TPNP) of the Province of Tarlac headed by Gov. Victor A. Yap.

The program aim to alleviate poverty in each Municipality through intensive and comprehensive trainings. TPNP also extended assistance to all its graduates through the aid of the different investors within Tarlac and Clark Freeport Zone.

Since the start of the program, hundreds of constituents from the different Municipalities of Tarlac benefitted. They were equipped with the necessary skills and trainings prior to their employment with the different business establishments nearby.

Mayor Feliciano hailed Gov. Yap for his endearing support and passion for government service. He added that through the effort of Gov. Yap dreams of our constituents were now achievable. “ Ang sagot sa kahirapan ay edukasyon, tamang training at akmang kasanayan”, said Mayor Feliciano. He also said that development can be achieved if all will be united, that LGU Bamban, through his leadership can build half of the bridge and the other half should be constructed by its constituents. Ang programang ito ay magtuturo sa atin kung papaano mangisda, upang kahit magbago ang administrasyon, ang mga natutunan natin ay hindi na mawawala pa sa atin, Mayor Feliciano added.

Congresswoman Susan A. Yap of the 2nd District of Tarlac supported Mayor Feliciano’s statement. She added, that we should be armed with appropriate skills and trainings to alleviate poverty.

The program is continuous, as of this date, enrolment is still on-going. Staff of the TPNP were delighted to announce that more and more Bambanense were enrolling. EDUCATION is indeed the best and powerful tool to change our lives quoted Mayor Feliciano. (Cherrylyn M. Pascua)
